One-month band-free

It's been just over a month since my band came out. And it's just over two months now until my stomach comes out - yep, my sleeve is scheduled for Nov. 9, which is 9 weeks from tomorrow! I cannot wait. Just cannot wait.

Ironically, it's also two weeks shy of what would have been my 3-year bandiversary.

The weight gain continues, although it has thankfully slowed quite significantly. I don't even want to get on a scale - all I know is I have nothing that fits, and that's not much of an exaggeration. I can't gain any more weight, or I will be naked. Ha.

  7. I am jealous you only have 9 weeks. I am hoping to have my sleeve in December.. but I am thinking it is more likely going to be January. I have to do this stupid 6 months of dieting and that is all I am waiting on. I have gained a lot of weight... like owww 30 lbs since July 2nd. I hate this... but I have to keep my BMI high enough to qualify. Anyway, I also just passed my 3 year bandiversary 8 days ago. Right now I am just aiming to stay where I am at and not gain anymore. Best of luck to you!!

  9. I'm so sorry your band failed, but I think with your tremendous success the sleeve is a perfect fit for you. I think you will be SO happy! No more getting stuck, PBing or having to think about every single bite (will it go down?) The sleeve is an awesome tool that allows us to still eat normal healthy food, just LESS of it. You will do great with the sleeve! Congrats and good luck!
