My 2011 motto is...

I am ready to push my limits, stretch my boundaries, create new healthy routines, and live the life I was meant to live. A life that was made much more possible because of weight loss surgery, but a life that does not revolve just around my weight loss. It's about giving back, dreaming big, nurturing relationships, and most of all, pushing beyond who I was.

I would consider 2010 my "staging year". I did a lot of work to position myself (and my family) to have a fantastic 2011. I am ready to discover who I really am and what I really love. I am ready to live a life that is authentic, that at times pushes my limits while other times leaving me feeling content, that makes me feel good about who I am and what I contribute to my family, friends, and the world.

I am challenging myself to accomplish 111 things in 2011. Some are small, some are BIG, some are mundane, some are necessary, some are fantastical, some are very personal (I'm not sharing with anyone IRL except you guys), and some are just plain boring. Each has a purpose, though, the purpose of pushing me beyond myself.

Without further adieu, here is my list of "111 Things to Accomplish in 2011":

  1. Wow, there are several wonderful things here, and I want to steal some of them! I think I am going to make 2011 about my family, we don't do nearly enough family stuff! Best of luck to you, you are going to have a GREAT year!

  2. i miss you posting all the time. i am glad you are "back". i read this list and knowing you in real life -- i think "this is too easy...amy is surely capable of doing these things in one week!" lol.

see you in a few hours!!!! (i have a bottle of wine already packed in the car....just sayin....)

  3. I like #37 a lot! Might add that to my goals too! I actually like all of them!! They sound very obtainable for sure!!

  4. Wow - great post! The best part is that they are specific and doable! Your list is inspiring! My husband and I are actually going on a 'no spending' month beginning today - for the month of January. We're going to see how long we can go without spending anything on items outside of necessities (bills, fuel, etc.) I want to use up as much stuff as I can out of my pantry and freezer b/c it tends to just sit there unless I get creative and force us to use it up! Its part of our plan to consume LESS and use what we already have!

  5. God Bless you, Amy! Your list is inspiring.

  6. Amazing List... I'll see you tonight!

  7. Love the list, I was having a bit of trouble coming up with mine and how to organise it :o) I may have to 'borrow' some ideas from you!!!

  8. Awesome list. I know this is going to be a great year for you.

  9. Wow! Great list!! I think I'm going to borrow a few. Thanks for the great ideas. Happy New Year!!

  10. Holy cow. Not much pressure lol. That said: if any girl is going to attempt to and hold true to this list you are the one. A real go getter.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR sweetpea.
